Why does MegaRAID Storage Manager 5.5 counts up my "Device IDs" of the disks everytime when I physically or virtually change my drive configuration ? For example: Before I changed any settings Storage Manager showed Device ID 0-7 for the physical disks and after some changes the physical drives now have higher Device IDs (8,11,12,9. The only time you would have to have access to it is if you are going to boot from it and you had to make your boot array before installing the OS.
